A Red, White, and Blue Healthy Skin Treat!

I hope you are all enjoying a peaceful, loving day surrounded by those you love on this Memorial Day weekend. Keeping with the red, white, and blue theme (see my previous post for a free special gift on all orders through this evening at midnight) I decided to post an oldie-but-a-goodie recipe that I tend to use as my go-to recipe for holidays such as today. Watermelon, blueberries, and cashews are all skin-strengtheners and contribute to so many healthy skin functions.
Ingredients:
1 Watermelon, cut into squares
2 cup Cashews, soaked for two hours
3/4 cup Maple Syrup
Vanilla, to taste
Water, to taste
Pinch of Salt
Blueberries
Preparation:
Place cashews, maple syrup, and vanilla in food processor and process. Add water slowly, little by little to achieve a smooth, frosting-like consistency.
Place on a ziplock bag and cut a small section of the bottom corner. Use this as your frosting instrument. Squeeze frosting on each watermelon, then top with a blueberry! You can also include little flags on each one for decoration and serving purposes. Or if you do squares, shape them all into a flag shape by topping some of them with raspberries, some with blueberries and some with bananas according to the colors of the USA flag, for a lovely, festive presentation!
Enjoy!
